I’m Andrew Billington and I’ve been a production photographer for 20 years — I capture the energy, drama, and magic of live theatre and performance across the UK. My images don’t just document shows; they capture to moments that matter, making audiences want to be there.

Where do you work?

I’m based in the North West of England, but I travel anywhere in the UK to photograph productions, festivals, and community performances.

What do you specialise in?

From building based theatre productions to community arts and outdoor festivals, I create striking, usable images that help sell tickets, promote shows, and bring your marketing to life.

Do you film as well?

I can film rehearsals and performance highlights for social media use. I do this alongside my photography on the day.

Who do you work with?

I collaborate with production companies and arts organisations to provide images that are practical, creative, and ready to use for publicity, marketing, and press.
